Congratulations and well done to everyone involved with the NEFRC One Day Event!! The riding club, and their wonderful army of volunteers and helpers, did a fantastic job with the organisation and everyone seemed to really enjoy the day. The weather was good and ground conditions were almost perfect after some rain the previous day. The cross country course was looking great (even though we say so ourselves!!!) and there were some lovely clear rounds in all classes. The easier ‘L’ options also came in useful for some competitors to help them get round successfully and enjoy their day. The extended cross country course from the ode is still in position and is now open again for hire. However, we will be grazing the fields to keep the grass at a manageable level so although all the fences will be available, the gates between fields may be shut. Ground conditions at the moment are good so please get in touch to book your visit.

We have had a variety of visitors already this season, with instructors with groups, Pony Clubbers and tetrathletes, and private individuals and groups all enjoying the variety of fences available. If you are preparing for some of the later hunter trials, bringing on a new or young horse or just wanting to have some fun, do come along to Kinnaird and enjoy our wide range of cross country fences. We also have some working hunter jumps to warm up over before you tackle the course. We are hoping to confirm a date for our annual autumn hunter trial soon, so watch out for that too.
