Knockhill Horse Power Cross Country Championship qualifier 2014

Well done to everyone who took part in the autumn hunter trial at Kinnaird. We hope everyone enjoyed the day. There was a good entry for all the classes and as usual the 2’6″ height was the most popular with both adult and junior competitors. Over one hundred horse and rider combinations took part resulting in a very successful day.

The ground held up very well despite the recent rain and there were some lovely clear rounds, close to the optimum times, across all the classes. In addition, several people took the chance to bring inexperienced horses or to move up a height and made good use of the easier ‘L’ options to get round.

A huge ‘thank you’ goes to all the many volunteers who gave up their time to help make everything run smoothly. We couldn’t do it without them, and their help is very much appreciated.
