SCHOOLING PICK-A-FENCE – Saturday, 17th October

Please read all the rules and protocols carefully. Remember to print out three copies of your number, and bring your number bib with you. (Numbers should be clear and easy to read – one front and back for your bib, and one to display in your vehicle windscreen)

www.sinclairphotography.co.uk is offering a 20% discount on photographs from the day, so remember to smile as you gallop past! Big Winnie’s catering van will also be there.

This will run over a full course with three height options at each fence and participants will ride it as a normal hunter trial, but it will be a non competitive event. Riders will be free to move up or down a height or to miss out a particular fence if they wish. There will be no jump judges, no scoring and therefore no rosettes or prizes. It should be an ideal opportunity to ride a course without the pressure of a competition. Schedule and entry forms can be downloaded from above. Entries can be made online via www.equoevents.com or by post.

We hope all our lovely customers have been keeping well during the current difficult situation. The easing of some of the restrictions means we have been able to open, with a few additional measures in place to help keep everyone safe.

To book a slot to use the course, please contact us as usual by phone (07821 495865) or through facebook. We are pleased and relieved that from Monday, 3rd August coaches will no longer be restricted in the number of households they can coach in a day. However, members of different households must still keep at least 2 metres apart at all times. This means you are not able to help a friend with their horse etc. We will allow plenty of time between bookings so that the car park area does not become congested.

For your visit, please note that the large cabin is being kept for farm use only so there is no tuckshop. If necessary, the toilet in the small cabin will be available and will be then be cleaned between bookings. We also have hand sanitizer points in place which we would encourage you to use. If possible, please either email a completed disclaimer in advance or print off a form before you come. Forms for download are below. Payment by bank transfer is preferred, or cash should be in an envelope with your name on it.

The risk of infection from taking part in an outdoor activity like cross country riding should be very minimal but we hope these additional measures will help to keep everyone safe.
