We are open! Our 2023 season is underway, with lots of lovely visitors already. Don’t be put off if you see sheep in the field – they are our helpful lawnmowers, trying to keep the grass at a sensible length, and will be moved for your visit

The portables are securely pinned down, the flags are up, the show jumps are out and ground conditions are good. If you would like to come for a practice then please get in touch.

Please check out the 2023 Season page for up-to-date information.

At Kinnaird Cross Country, we extend a warm welcome to riders and their friends and families from all over Fife and beyond.

The course is centrally located in beautiful rolling countryside on our family farm at Dairsie near Cupar in Fife. Here we have created a safe environment for you and your horse to enjoy all the challenges of cross country riding at your chosen level – with or without your instructor.

We have a wide variety of fences at different height options and everything is securely staked/spirofixed in position. There is something for everyone, from those just starting out at cross country to those with much more experience, and the great vantage points are perfect for spectators and instructors.

The hill is ideal for fitness training and you can practice show jumping on grass with our working hunter jumps on a flat area at the start of the course. This is also a safe warm-up space to get your eye in before you tackle the solid fences.

If you are visiting Fife for a few days, why not enjoy a short break with your horse? We can offer stabling and grazing including full use of the course and can also set up a dressage arena for you if required. Non-horsey members of your group will also find lots to do locally.

Group bookings are welcome and the course is perfect for riding clubs and pony clubs as well as those who prefer to practice on their own. We can also help you organise competitions and events here throughout the year.

Please get in touch if you would like to arrange a date for yourself or your group and keep an eye on our website News page for more information.

We are now on Facebook too, so please give Kinnaird Cross Country a ‘like’, thanks! Remember to tag us in all your lovely photos and video clips.

Costs – Hire of course – £25 per horse per hour with discounts available for groups.
