2019 Season

*** Date for your Diary – Sunday, 28th July 2019 *** We are delighted that the NEFRC Open One Day Event is scheduled to be held at Kinnaird on Sunday, 28th July. This year, hunter trial classes will be running on the same day so if dressage and show jumping is not your thing, then come along for the cross country element.

You may have noticed that our website has had a little revamp. Hopefully, it will make it easier for us to keep you up to date with things that are going on at Kinnaird and to put up some of your lovely photos. Hope you like it.

Ground conditions at the moment are very good and we are currently taking bookings for individuals and groups to use the course so please get in touch and we can arrange a date to suit. Ask your instructor, Club or yard to organise a visit, or just get together with some friends. Don’t worry if you would like to come on your own – let us know in advance and we should be able to arrange for someone to accompany you to make sure you are safe … or why not come for an overnight stay? We have a few stables and there are lots of places to stay locally if a tent doesn’t appeal!

To book, call or text 07821 495865, email us on lesley@kinnairdcrosscountry.co.uk or message us through our facebook page. We look forward to welcoming you all along to Kinnaird soon.

If there are sheep in the field when you drive past, don’t be put off – they are our sustainable strimmers! They are trying to keep the grass at a manageable length and will be moved out for your visit.

We know everyone is keen to get started on cross country training for the forthcoming season but we need to wait until the sheep move into their new fields for lambing, and then let the grass recover a little. It is important to make sure that ground conditions are as good as possible for the whole season and a little patience now will pay dividends later on.
